Kalimdor: Orgrimmar

Built in the wake of the Third War, the mighty fortress-city of Orgrimmar lay at the heart of the new homeland of the Orcs.

The Valley of Strength opened out beyond the city's main gates, welcoming all members of the Horde.

The Bank of Orgrimmar was a favorite haunt for merchants, tradesmen, and adventurers alike.

Boomstick Imports, located next to the Auction House, made a small fortune mending arms and armor.

Overlooking the commercial district, the Hall of Legends was once a retreat for Officers within the Horde's military forces.

High above the Valley of Strength, the Wind Ride Masters tended their charges and sent folks off to all corners of Kalimdor.

Through a gate in the city's walls lay the down-and-out area know as The Drag.

Darkened streets and alleyways lead past shops of all shapes and sizes - and sometimes shady sales.

Magically shadowed tunnels lead further into Orgrimmar's seedy underbelly.

The Cleft of Shadow was home to rogues, thieves, warlocks ... and the demonic servants they consorted with.

Dark magics and fel runes marred the ground only a stone's throw from the Ragefire Caverns.

Past a heavily guarded gate lay the Valley of Honor.

The heart of the Orc's war machine, the Vally of Honor was home all the tools and people used to fuel the Horde's military might.

Battle and Arena Masters sent Horde recruits to war with the Alliance from within the Hall of the Brave.

Wolves were trained for riding and warfare within the Orgrimmar Stables.

Combatants honed their skills in the Ring of Valor.

The Orcs' leadership ruled from within the Valley of Wisdom.

The a statue and the remains of the Pit Lord Mannoroth reminded all of the Orcs of the sacrifice made to free them from the Blood Curse.

Grommash Hold was the seat of power for the Warchief and his advisers.

The weight of leading the Horde weighed heavily on Thrall's shoulders.

The Valley of Spirits was a place to learn of the mystical and the arcane.

An endless stream of adventurers were deposited in the Valley by magical portals ...

... and countless numbers injured themselves on the rocks below.

For a city born of war and freedom born of bloodshed, the Orcs and Orgrimmar remained stalwart defenders of the Horde and its territory.

  1. I loved the design of Ogrimmar! It was just perfect as the stronghold of the Horde.
