Kalimdor: Bloodmyst Isle

Long before the Draeni crashed into Azeroth, the area was known as Silvergale Isle. Bearing the brunt of the Exodar's pollution left the earth, water, and sky tinged with radioactive corruption.

The Ruins of Loreth'Aran are a testament to the once glorious Elven settlement of the same name. A grand betrayal caught its people unawares.

Wrathscale Naga infested the remains of the city, a further mockery of the Elves that once made it their home.

Just off the coast, on Wyrmscar Island, the ruins lay even more thickly on the sundered ground. Spirits of the murdered elves and Green Flight restlessly haunted the area.

From atop Talon Stand the devastation brought on by Deathwing was undeniable. The Dragon Riders of Loreth'Aran and their Emerald companions were slaughtered in the night.

The spirit of Prince Toreth endlessly roamed the island, determined to fufil his Blood Oath: the betrayal that happened here would never be forgotten.

In more recent times Kessel's Crossing stood at the edge of the unnatural crimson haze that blanketed the re-named Bloodmyst Isle.

Creatures unlike any seen on Azeroth - Ravagers - roamed the isle near the broken cages of The Lost Fold.

The Bristlelimb Furbolgs were driven made by the power of the crystals, turning on their former allies.

The Exodar could be seen across slightly the tainted waters off the Beryl Coast.

The once pure river ran blood red with the crystal's contamination.

The land wept for its own in The Foul Pool.

The Elements themselves raged beneath the waves of The Hidden Reef.

Scavenging parts from the shattered ship, the Draeni banded together at Blood Watch in an attempt to better understand the shards' effect on the area.

Enormous spiders spun webs of monstrous proportions in Amberweb Pass.

The usually calm moonkin of Ragefather Ridge lashed out adventurers, Draeni, and wildlife.

The daemons of Nazzivian seemed to ignore the crystals that rained upon their encampment.

While the Satyr of Axxarien seemed to embrace their power.

Most alarmingly of all, the Blood Elves that had infiltrated The Exodar now seemed addicted to the crystal's magical powers.

The elves congregated around the The Cryo-Core and other large pieces of the ship, seeking more and more of its energy.

Somehow harnessing the power of The Warp Piston, Blood Elves began opening portals to other dimensions, leaking in creatures of the void.

Blood Elven camps encircled the most powerful portion of the Exodar: the Vector Coil.

Their leader, the eredar Sironas, siphoned power from the Vector Coil in order to bolster her own.

Bloodmyst Isle was a land of conflict and betray, both on the recent edge of memory and as far back as time itself.
