Kalimdor: Azuremyst Isle

When the mighty Exodar crashed into Azeroth, it marred the otherwise pristine lands of the Azuremyst Isles.

A small elven homestead on Silvermyste Isle was crushed by the shards.

The power crystals' radiation mutated and enraged the nearby moonkin.

The deranged beasts attacked the family, leaving a heartbroken father to mourn.

Nearly all the natives were impacted by the power of the shards. Once peaceful Bristlelimb furbolgs turned openly hostile.

Murlocs of the Silting Shore began using the strange stones as medallions, imbuing the small creatures with strange new powers.

The Stillpine tribe was ousted from their ancestral home by mutated wildkin ... and something darker and more evil.

Even the wildlife of Moongraze Woods became aggressive.

Otherworldly beasts were loosed from their broken cages in the Menagerie Wreckage.

Not even the Draeni knew the full extent of the damage caused from their shattered pods raining down out of the sky ...

... which littered and polluted the very ground on which such Pod Wreckage landed ...

... infuriating the very elementals their Shaman claimed to revere. Emberglade smoldered with resentment toward the intruders.

The Alliance sent forth ships to investigate the rumors of a strange light in the sky off the coasts of Kalimdor.

Their encampment at Odesyus' Landing found nearly as much danger within as they encountered outside their walls.

A mysterious turncoat met with their master in the Traitor's Cove.

They planned to sell out the Alliance in exchange for the new found wealth that Geezle's goblin mercenaries offered.

Meanwhile attacks from the Wrathscale Naga increased.

Warning came from their new-found Draeni allies of further attacks.

Ships set sail from Valaar's Berth, but help did not return.

Looking to the north, across the Fairbridge Strand, was cause for further worry.

The Draeni's arrival left an indelible mark on a land untouched for ages.
