Kalimdor: Feralas

As lush and verdant as Desolace was barren, Feralas offered a view into what Kalimdor had looked like before the Sundering.

The Ruins of Ravenwind were infested with Harpies and Gnolls which defiled the ancient Elven city.

Jademir Lake lapped at the shore of long forgotten cities.

The Green Dragonflight inhabited the ruins of Oneiro.

While the misguided Guardians of the Dreams lashed out at any who ventured to near to the Dream Bough.

The Western Colossal towered over Feralas ...

... and The Eastern Colossal flanked the other side of the road.

Pure water sprung from the top of The East Colossal.

The world rushed up as the water - and I - rushed down toward it.

Wild Yeti retreated into Rage Scar Hold.

While their brethren poured forth from Feral Scar Vale.

The lands sloped down over the river toward the shore.

All along The Forgotten Coast the land was touched by the Elves.

Across the waters of the mist lifted along Sardor Isle ...

... the enchanted green pawed at the Ruins of Solarsal ...

... and drifted back in to embrace Feathermoon Stronghold.

South over the waters of The Veiled Sea lay the Isle of Dread.

Naga swarmed out from Shalzulu's Lair and into the water.

On the mainland the Gordunni Ogres overtook the Ruins of Isildien.

The Ogres defiled what was once a Temple of the Moon.

The once majestic Elven city of Dire Maul became the domain of the Gordunni.

In the Fayfeather Highlands hippogryphs roamed free.

The Verdantis River ran through the heart of Feralas.

The Grimtotem Clan fanatically defended their Compound.

The Grimtotem Compound stretched along the base of the mountains.

The Horde's Camp Mojache straddled the roadway ...

... and Wildwind Lake.

An ageless evil slept beneath The Withering Deep, commanding it's minions out into the woods.

The road sloped further downward into The Lower Wilds.

Where ancient trees and once pristine lands were torn asunder.

Ogres trampled and ruined the mountains around Gordunni Outpost.

Only a handful of druids at Thalanaar stood against the madness.

A land seemingly untouched by time, Feralas still felt the blemishing mark of the evils that plagued Kalimdor.
