Wetlands were a vast mash at the northern edge of the Dwarven held lands.
Menethil Harbor was home to the Alliance.
As were the many graveyards near Baradin Bay.
The dwarves at Whelgar's Excavation plied the mountains for clues to their past.
While letting the tombs of their ancestors fall into disarray.
The Dark Iron Dwarves claimed Dun Modr as their own ...
... and expanded outward to Direforge Hill.
Strange beasts wandered the caves of Raptor Ridge.
Outcasts and hermits made their homes in the swamps.
Tormented spirits haunted the Lost Fleet and the relic that sank with them.
Gnolls made their camps amid the ruins of the Green Belt.
Otherworldly oozes seeped from Thelgen Rock.
Dragonmaw Orcs scouted from the Angerfang Encampment ...
... but their real might lay to the south.
The Dragonmaw Gates were guarded by enslaved members of the Red Flight.
The mighty fortress-city of Grim Batol, once the subterranean home of the Wildhammer Dwarves, was captured by the Orcs and there they corrupted the Red Flight. No outsider had entered in ages.
The Stonewrought Dam watched out over the Wetlands and all the intrigue and conflict that lay within its marshy boarders.
I remember running down from Menthil Harbor all the way to Ironfordge to take the Deeprun Tram to Stormwind and make it to Goldshire as a Night Elf... more than once, haha. Just reminiscing, amazing job with all of this.
