Eastern Kingdoms: Burning Steppes

Between the relatively tame lands of Redridge Mountains and the fiery inferno of Blackrock Mountain once lay the highly contested lands of Burning Steppes.

The Black Dragonflight claimed all of the Terror Wing Path.

The Ogres of Dreadmaul Rock generally stayed within their mountainsides and caverns, occasionally raiding the nearby ruins.

The Blackrock Orcs patroled the broken lands around their Stronghold.

The Horde maintained a small outpost.

While the Alliance fortified the ruins of Morgan's Vigil.

The ruined city of Thaurissan lay between the warring factions.

Slither Rock was carved near the edge of the Black Flight's territory.

The Pillar of Ash was on the edge of the Blackrock's holdings.

A remains of an Alter of Storms from the Second War still filled the area with unchained demonic energy, drawing elemental and Ogre Maigi alike.

Under the watchful gaze of an Alliance Hero's mounment - rumored  by some to mark the very place that Anduin Lothar fell - the hellish lands of The Burning Steppes continued their wars day in and day out.
