Eastern Kingdoms: Loch Modan

The massive Stonewraught Dam was long ago crafted by the Dwarves, engorging the Loch behind it as snow melt ran down from the mountains.

Many of the islands were flooded, leaving only small patches above the waters.

Most of the dwarves had long since adapted to the larger lake.

Some of the gnomes ... did not.

The dwarven community of Thelsamar was carved from a valley near the west bank of the Loch.

The expansive ruins at Ironbrand's Excavation Site were overrun by troggs.

The creatures ran off both the original archeologist, Prospector Stormpike, and the replacement crew lead by Ironbrand.

Tunnel Rat Kobalds invaded the Silver Stream Mine, seizing the valuable minerals for their doubtous uses.

The Mo'grosh ogres defended their stronghold ...

... and their shaman wielded surprising power.

The Farstrider Lodge was home to a lone High Elf and his dwarven companion.

The towering statues of Madoran Bronzebeard and Khardros Wildhammer watched over the Vally of Kings and all who passed into Dwarven land.
