Amid the towering forests and rolling plains it was easy to forget that the Teldrassil was a tree in and of itself.
The plants and earth of the new island grew swiftly under the Night Elves' guidance. Oracle Glade stood a testament to their magics.
While the adjacent Moonwell was a reminder of their spirituality.
The Elves built their villages near the shores of Lake Al'Ameth.
The buildings of Dolanaar grew within the very trees.
The fallen were returned to the very ground that refused to grant their immortality.
Neighboring Starbreeze Village was overrun with mad furbolgs ...
... which poured out of encampments and Gnarlpine Hold.
Still more furbolgs infested the Ban'ethil Barrow Dens.
Strange, lumbering beasts ravaged the shores of Wellspring Lake ...
... and lurked within the river itself, catching novice adventurers unawares.
The land and water already tormented, Harpies took to the skies, building their foul nests within the towering trees.
Shimmering plants unlike anything seen on Teldrassil began to sprout.
Yet some areas remained secluded. A small, twisting path lead up into the mountainside.
How long could the empty hallow of The Cleft remain untouched by the corruption that seemed to consume all else upon the World Tree?
